Jimmy Lollie was advised as a MAXIMUM 5 Point bet for Wednesday’s Sky Sports TV Greyhound racing as Blue Square went Even Money….

The greyhound of the year broke on terms but as they went round the first bend he went in to the lead and from then it was all over.

Our Dogs- Update

What a great run by Prestonaitalkin at Monmore. He missed the break and them flew home to come second in a OPEN RACE ! He will win us open races, we were absolutely delighted. Jim things a lot of him and he will run in Open Company, hopefully at Newcastle hopefully on Saturday.

Murlens Vacation did her first trial at Doncaster, she clocked 29.97 seconds. The fastest time of the night was 29.96 for the A2 race. She will only get better. Could she also be open class? She will have her next trial this weekend.

Preston Run has come in to season so she will be off for 3 or 4 weeks. She ran a decent time but what is clear is she wants further than the 480m they run at Doncaster.

The pup ran well in his trial, Preston Bullit. He wil have his third trial this weekend at Doncaster.

Having won last week, Golden Fantasy didnt get the run of the race in the A2 contest at Doncaster, he was last of six but wasn’t beaten far and Janice feels he is more than capable of winningf an A2 contest.

Watch Golden Fantasy Win at Doncaster….

You can now watch our dog Golden Fantasy win at Doncaster…..

See how he picks up in the last third of the race, he may get further. He steps up to A2 now and we will see how he goes.

This was our first winner! The first of many we hope. Well done to Janice Simpson who trains Golden Fantasy, the first winner for Viking Racing!

Advised at 9/4 members were advised to back our dog who duely delivered.

BIg Weekend For Viking Greyhounds…In Action

All five of our dogs are in action this weekend, two will race and three will be trialing at Doncaster… Below is a summary of the action….

Prestonaintalkin’ – will run at Monmore in an Open Race. He got crowded out last week at Newcastle, he is a good dog.

Prestonaintalkin’ is a class dog and is open class. The track at Monmore could suit better, it is a short run to the straight and he has blistering early speed. We will advise members of his chances closer to the race.

Golden Fantasy was a winner last week at Doncaster and steps up to A2, in the best race on the card. He has been given TRAP 6 which is his best chance. He won on his second race for Janice Simpson last week and is very well. We will of course advise members of his chances.

Our other dogs are trialing on Friday at Doncaster. They have to trial 3 times to qualify to run at the track. Murlens Vacation has her first outing for us, and Preston Run and Prestom Bullit have their second trial at the track.

• New Dogs Preston Run and Preston Bullit will have their first trials at Doncaster on Friday and Saturday for Jim Hayton
• Murlens Vacation arrived at Janice Simpson’s Kennel from Ireland and will trial next week.

Our new Dog Prestonaintalkin’ clocked an amazing 29.54 in a trail at Doncaster…

Too Fast For Stainforth

That time suggests he is an open class performer. He is certainly too fast for Stainforth. James Hayton, trainer said he had amazing early pace, very good back straight pace and finished well. He is exciting. he was bought from Elaine Parker’s kennel and could be a real bargain.

We now will look for an open race for him. Watch this space….
