Kauto Star wins at Kempton

Kauto Star created history by becoming the first horse to win the William Hill King George VI Chase for the fourth year in succession at Kempton. Paul Nicholls’ superstar came home in splendid isolation and Ruby Walsh never suffered an anxious moment throughout the whole three miles, officially winning by a distance from Madison Du Berlais.

After a huge day on Saturday, we gave members (and free trial line callers) two bets on Sunday. Bible Lord unseated Timmy Murphy in the Grand Sefton but in The Becher Chase we said Vic Venturi was likely to be well handicapped. His 6 length winning margin substantiates that view!

On a great day of racing at Ascot, where Rip Van Winkle won the QEII, Viking members turned to Haydock where Green Manalishi was a big bet at 6/1 early. Backed all day Kevin Ryan’s horse was given a great ride by Daryl Holland to win going away at 4/1.

At York on Saturday Viking members landed two huge bets. Singeur was a major bet at 5-1 who won at 9-2 under Neil Callan. Viking advised members to back Kirkless at 15/8 who was punted all the way to Evens and won readily under Frankie Dettori. A huge double was completed at York for Viking members.
